Facebook is dead to me

I can't do it anymore. I was always the one that said, "my friends know how to contact me, if I've lost track of old friends-- there is a reason." I killed my account today. I kept the Penelope Blogs one because many followers tell me that is how they read the blog. The personal account--RIP.

  1. I am going to miss your humor on Facebook but I am happy Penelope is still around.

  2. I have a deep love for FB only because it brought my high school friends and I back together again. We did not stay in touch after we graduated because we just went in different directions, but have come around full circle. I don't use it for much else, but has been a blessing that has been worth more than I can say!

  3. I can see how it is positive in that respect-that is great. I have experienced friends acting like they are still in high school (or even junior high) on Facebook. The fact that there is a word that has been created purely because of fb called "defriending" makes my skin crawl.

Hi. I moderate the comments--if you just want the comment for my eyes only let me know. Also, there is a drop down and you can select "anonymous." Thanks!
